Here we share our 5-day weather forecast graph for the ABC islands for this week (February 20th to February 24th, 2024).
* A somewhat variable week lies ahead weather-wise but not an unstable one. A new front (weaker one) is moving over the northwestern Caribbean at this time and will gradually move eastward but stay north of the ABC islands. The presence of this front will lead to the winds becoming light again in the coming days, mostly on Thursday and on that same day, the winds will come from the northeast. The presence of this front could also increase the moisture in the atmosphere and lead to a slightly higher possibility of a local shower or two, but significant precipitation is not expected this week. Skies will generally be partly cloudy, and the Saharan dust will move away from the local region by tomorrow Wednesday and for most of the week. Temperatures will slightly decrease in the coming few days, mostly during the night when the winds are calm but during the day, while the winds are light and the sun is out, it could feel warm or somewhat muggy. After Thursday, winds will again increase and be moderate during the weekend. Later on, a new mass of Saharan dust would also arrive. Maximum temperatures this week will be around 30-31 degrees Celsius/ 86-88 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 25-26 degrees Celsius/ 77-79 degrees Fahrenheit.
